Jacob Rees Mogg

I've never wanted to punch someone as much as him.

LOL :) I actually said these words to my wife last night when watching the news and listening to him going on and on about the vote and the Tories on the #10 payroll. But of course as much as I utterly detest the lies and deceit that he spouts I have to just love the guy.

So out of all the posts having a pop at him you went for mine because I likened him to Tory boy - ignoring all the other insults towards him you thought mine was the one to point the finger at ?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tory_Boy

I’m not sure what Labour etc have to do with it all when the post is about one single person ?

And I called him a hypocrite because he demands that the EU vote is respected but then goes on to demand May resign after winning a vote - hence he can’t respect that vote - hypocrite

Are you still a little bit embarrassed that you resorted to cheap digs on the forum and got caught out - after everything you had a go at SILH for in regards cheap digs you showed yourself up to be as much a disrespectful hypocrite as him

And then you constantly bleat on about people responding to the post and not the poster yet here you are doing the same - you certainly make sure you put your stamp on any political thread and then it goes downhill after.

Oi - I cry foul!

Touch a raw nerve did it? I commented on your post as you consistently take the high moral ground with other posters but then make personal slights on people rather than explain why you think their opinion is wrong.
Your rant at me is typical of your approach to someone who questions your posts. You can put me on ignore if my posts are upsetting you, in fact: I recommend you do.

Its like people wait for Phil to comment on posts so that they can all have a dig at him. God its boring.

i see a lot of stuff on twitter about this bloke as Fish 'likes' a lot of it so it ends up on my wall.

i did laugh when i saw something about him being a man of the youth the other day...... Bloke couldn't be further away from appealing to the youth

I am sure Ress Mog was the happiest man when he learnt TM had won the vote of confidence. Imagine if she lost and then one of the other lot of BoJo or JRM have to stand for the election. What if JRM actually won the leadership?

That’s my thinking about the hardcore brexit torries. They want to be seen as trying to do the ‘right’ thing, but because they know that right thing isn’t possible they do loud shouting and complaining from the back benches, saying it would be better if they were in charge.

They knew she would win, so it was just a publicity stunt to be seen trying something.

May should take Rees-Mogg into the negotiation room with her and see how he gets on.

Up until last night I rather liked his approach to issues, he seemed to explain stuff in a simple and correct way BUT last night he was just plain wrong. Mrs May won the vote fair and square and he goes on national TV and acts like a Remainer, he trys to somehow say that although she won, she really lost because the MP's she employs dont count as they are paid by her so were bound to vote for her - WHAT!! 99% of those MP's would work for anyone who won a vote to be PM, and, the vote was secret so she would never have known who voted against her

Snap!

A 'great respecter of (UK) democracy' - NOT!!

Will probably follow his father's path into The Lords eventually, if only to be 'gotten rid of' from the Commons!

The epitome of what folk detest about the UK 'establishment' at times!

Though I certainly respect/agree with his approach to leaving the EU (if not necessarily the leaving itself) - if the final arbiter is the ECJ, then.....
