So I had a bundle of Capital Bond Vouchers burning a hole in my hands here, (got them thru a work incentive), and seeing as I needed something to satiate my lack of Golf in these winter months, I've been in to American Golf and got myself:

2 Dozen ProV's in readiness for the season.
3 Pairs padded FJ socks.
1 Galvin Green Almer Paclite/Gtex Jacket (always promised myself one one day)
1 Galvin Green Dino Tour Insula Sweater
1 Galvin Green Derek Insula Sleeveless

Ahhh.........that feels better, but sssshhhhhhhhh.........dont tell 'er indoors.

Bloody hell mate some retail therapy there.The GG Insula garments are quality very lightweight and warm as toast. The Jackets are the best IMO I wont wear any other waterproofs now. Enjoy and as you say dont tell HID

Ah...but AG doesnt really cater for us ladies, we'd be hard pushed to spend as much as that in one of their shops.

Now a shoe shop, handbag shop or a specialist lady golf shop is a different story altogether!

Homer - there's only the socks showing their face in the house !! the rest is going straight in my Tour bag !!
I reckon as they'll only get worn occasionally when required, ie cool evenings in summer or rain, they should see thru most of the summer before I have to think of throwing them into the washing basket !!

Funny that, i was looking at getting a Waterproof jacket was looking at a Nike one and the wife said why are you looking at that, i thought you wanted a GG Jacket - que a quick purchase before she changed her mind

The FJ socks have been damned good for me, I had 2/3 pairs that have lasted quite a while, and being nicely cushioned, they're very comfy.
Not cheap perhaps, but hey ho........
