Flicking around on Youtube looking at instruction and all that.....
Im wondering why when its so heavily taught that when hitting the shorter irons and wedges to have more weight on the front foot translates into better contact and better shots why we shouldnt do the same for all other clubs.....
I think it would stop swaying in the backswing...
You may find it hard to swing out to in eliminating the slice...
People would turn through the shot better as they wouldnt have to be transferring weight...
You wouldnt have shed loads of swing thoughts going round in your head at address....
Less stress on muscles...
Although it may take some getting used too past say a 6 iron im sure it wouldnt take too long to learn......It would be easier to learn i think.......
Im a bit of a devil for looking at swings and all that....With my own im a work in progress as most know...
I dont sway off the ball at address.
Granted i keep my weight centered i used to transfer it to the back foot but shots went everywhere....
They still go wayward from time to time but not as often...
My ball striking is much better as is where i make contact in my swing....
My back doesnt hurt anymore ...
Im not bent in the classic reverse C that so many players are...
I finish pretty straight over the front foot...
All this is just a theory mind...But its one to discuss....
More ways to skin a cat and all that.
