It's always someone elses

Wrong kick point
totally wrong shaft
rubbish putter
wrong grooves
blades fault
terrible greens
wet floors
wrong ladder
no warning signs
slippery pavement
Teachers fault
Parents fault
Police
Mps
MEPs
Local govt.

Where's the common sense gone?

I've just burnt my hand on the cooker because the 'Warning, this gets hot' sign fell off so I'm off to find myself an injury lawyer.

This is where I think a bit of knowledge sometimes is too much. When I started playing years ago you got handed a set of clubs and told to go play, no mention of kick points shaft flex or anythig else. We still managed to play to a decent standard. Yet nowadays unless you have been custom fitted with your long game coach but checked wih your short game coach and fitness expert to make sure it must be the equipment

Well thats the trouble with the nanny state and litigation culture. Now I've just sprained my one finger I type with though you. So I am gonna sue ya, cos its all ur fault see. You did not warn me it may happen see!!!

i was pointing the finger recently when i got a parking ticket. EVERYONE else was to blame. it certianly wasnt me who had parked himself right underneath the sign and walked off. LESSON LEARNT!

Excuse my ignorance...what's a kick point?

On second thoughts don't bother, I'm confused enough already!

quick answer but may be wrong. i think a high kick point will give you a low flight and low kick will give you a high flight. dont ask me about the science behind it.

Kick point is the point where you say "to hell with this game".... and kick the club you have just dropped in disgust on the tee box.

See Tiger woods shank into the bunker in the masters! Funniest golfing moment of the year for me.

Golf rage is allways funny , doesnt help em calm down when your chortling away though does it lol

I'm thinking of suing the government & the BBC News.
They said that we should have two days a week in which we don't drink booze.
So I've started going to the gym every tues & thurs evenings, and don't drink as a result.
Problem is, and they didn't warn me of this side effect on the news, I've started drinking more on the other 5 days to make up for those two days of abstaining.

WRONG!

Kickpoint is where you rest the clubhead on the ground and your hand on the top of the shaft and then give the shaft an almighty boot, make contact with the kickpoint and you get maximum distance into the bushes.

Sort of like the sweetspot I guess

Numpty - after a bad shot you drop the club onto your foot and volley it as far as possible, the kick point is the bit to kick to make it fly further - simple!!

Your all wrong - Kick Point is nothing to do with Shafts, it's the point on your bag specfically designed for dealing with frustration without breaking your toe, squashing your sambo etc.
