Is any play better then no play?

I have just relocated from London to Chester and am working so hard have no time for golf (not by choice!)

The question is: should I grab the odd few holes and a bit of range time when I can, or put the clubs away until work calms down and I can give it the attention golf needs.

I managed to get down to 22 in 12 months but have not played in 2 months.

To me any golf time, however short, is valuable. When I have a club in my hand I do not think about work and that is very important. I would get out as ofter as possible if even for only a small bucket of balls at the range. It will at least keep your swing ticking over until you have more time.

I am going to turn more to the Range this winter and I normally go about 7am on a weekend, Then I am back home for 10am even if I play a 12 hole 3 Par course to keep me on the road rather than slug my way through 18 holes of wet mud and grass.

I guess I was thinking whether my game would be better off being put on ice until I can focus properly and get some lessons, or snatch the odd range session as and when.

I suppose off 22 you could argue it would make no difference!

The longer you leave it, the harder you'll find it to get back into your normal swing if you have a company golf or something so always worth keeping your hand in and can be good to get stress out of your system too by nailing a few.
