Afternoon all,

Quick question, I am going through some swing changes at the moment, with what is going on I cannot hit a driver (I know this will change in time.)

With the above in mind, the lowest iron I carry is a 5 iron , is it worth investing in a lower lofted iron i.e driving iron to see if I can use that until I am able to use my driver? Just trying to get some extra distance in regards to what I carry, also trying not to revert to my old swing which seems to happen if I use anything but a iron at the moment.

Thanks for any help

Midnight...

I'd go for a driving iron or hybrid if it's going to take a while to get the driver swing going Guy

Hmm, the lower the loft, the harder they are to hit.

It's not comp season yet, I would just hit 5 iron and shorter to work on the new swing. If you're a bit short of the green, use the opportunity to work on the short game.

Gotta get the big dog working asap though...
