1. Yes

2. Yes, but not for syncing the music library

3. Yes

4. Most people use iTunes, but you can also use some other software. Google iTunes alternatives and you will find a few examples. Some are freeware, others not.

It will connect to a wireless internet connection. I post on here from mine.

Basically it is the same as an IPhone without the ablity to phone. It is also slimmer and lighter.

I think that they are a great bit of kit and use mine all the time. The only issue I have over a normal Ipod is the capacity as my old Ipod had enough memory to hold all of my music whereas the biggest touch is only 32 gb

Re the charger. I didn't get a mains charger with my iPhone, just the USB lead, but I bought an adaptor off ebay which plugs into a mains socket and you plug your usb cable into it.

You are going to give your 13 year old son an ipad touch?
Aren't these things over £400?

I hope he doesn't have any bullies in his class

HMV are doing an offer including external chargers at the moment.

They are great pieces of kit I spend more time surfing on my ipod than I do on the laptop.

Every version of the iPhone includes a mains charger, which is a standard 3 pin plug that the USB cable plugs into. If you bought it new, ask the retailer.

I have an Ipod classic and whilst I love the unit Itunes is pants, given the choice again I would have rather had either a Creative or Archos as they use the much better Windows media player which detects the unit as a hard drive so syncing is much better, also WMP doesn't lose all your music. Just my opinion.

Andy, I got Olivias in PC World for £149 and paid £20 for an insurance which means of it is damaged or broken accidentally they replace if F.O.C.

No strings attached and worth a wee 20 quid for the peace of mind.

Sounds like a good deal as breakage is quite likely (especially if I borrow it...)
