Did anyone attend the latest Golf Live event, the Celebrity Cup at Celtic Manor, over the weekend? What were your thoughts? I was worried taking a taking a 10 year old and two 7 years olds to the event thinking that they might get bored rigid. Not a bit of it, given free brouchure, pens etc, they went autographing hunting and loved it. Kenny Dalgleish probably has had sleepless nights since wondering if my 7 year old lad is still standing next to him, stalking him, but what a smile on his face when he got that prized autograph. Plenty to do on the day, no hard-selling and plenty of freebies on offer. Well done Golf Live and Celtic Manor

Probably a good day out for kids but I can think of nothing worse.

I don't do 'celebrites' and can think of nothing worse than watching a bunch of them hack around a golf course. I could watch mid handicappers play at my own club for free.

I went for a few hours on Saturday, was great, saw some celebs like Rob Brydon and Craig Bellamy play golf, tested out a few drivers and irons, watched Joe Miller tank it 400 yards, got 3 free Srixon Z stars, 8 free Titleist NXT tours and a free Cleveland hat. And I got the tickets for free! Can't go wrong :p great day out. Wish I could've gone on the Sunday too.

I too went Saturday, saw the pros hit a few shots, watched Ant vs Dec in the main theater, and Soren & Shane's short game masterclass.

Loved all the free stuff (I've balls coming out my ears) and got tempted by the Cleveland Wedges so treated myself to a new one!

Can't wait till next year!!!!

Not only was it a great day out but for the four of us on our family day out, it cost £30.00 - absolute bargain. Martin O'Neill - brilliant - made a point of saying 'thank you' to everyone for wanting his autograph/picture. My only criticism was that the equipment there to try was geared towards the adults - they ought to have kids equipment there also as it is the youngsters that they need to entice into the game
