as some of you know i broke my wrist in April when i slipped on the 18th tee box at my home course (im disaster prone). i went to the range a few times last month when the cast came off, and was very painful couldn't swing worth a hoot and couldn't know a ball with any club inc driver past the 75 yard marker, decided today after a month off from the last attempt to have a go, again being so scared and cautious the 1st few shots were stright accurate but short, after a conversation with the fella beside me my head was somewhere else and forgot that i was supposed to be taking it easy and , WHAM smacked the ball with 200 yd of carry, from there on perfect shots with the wood and driver, bar the odd duff shot from trying to hard
i was so pleased i ran into the shop next door where i get all my kit and tried out the r11s 9* stiff i had been eyeing uip before i had my accident, man what a club so perfect, didn't even need to close the face either, so i caved and put a deposit, im so happy i had to share with you all
should also mention i had to change my loft on my 3 wood from higher to lower, ball was flying to high, now its flying just perfect, looks like the break has helped me in some strange way
