Just changed the Tri-Lock Stinger cleats in my shoes, the mother of all jobs getting the old ones out!

I've had them for 18 months so they've had plenty of time to get bedded in but even so.
Some came out using the two prong tool but many didn't, even after soaking and liberal application of WD40.

Ended up using a big pair of pliers on the hardest ones and destroying them by ripping off the rubber bit to get a good grip on the plastic bit.

I'm now all set for a wet and muddy round tomorrow though... :(

this is where having an old iron last makes a huge difference.... shoe is held firm and you can get the best angle and two hands etc to work on the stud.
