iG golfer joining a Club

Buddy of mine has an iG handicap. He's joining a club in the new year.

Will he get a new cdh when he joins, or will it stay the same and they can pick up his existing scores?

We've had several join us & it's no different to someone changing Clubs so CDH & H/cap history are retained.
