For me other them the club I follow which is Arsenal i would Buy Newcaslte , good stadium and a huge fan base and they are really into their football and it be good to see another big club take on the rest of the big boys , Newcaslte have not won anythink since 1969 Fairs Cup and the place be buzzing if that were to happen , current owner is ok but he does not want to take the club to the next level ,

What club would you buy , does not have to be a PL club , you got Sheff Wed and Utd , Leeds , Aston Villa , Notts Forest , which one

Aww, I thought you meant a golf Club.

I'd buy my own, double the number of greenstaff, and halve the number of members. No actually make that a quarter members

One of things.....

buy someone like Torquay and get them up to the PL. Feel sorry for people down there as they do not have any good teams to go watch.

Probably an amateur team TBH and have the fun of taking them all the way to the top. Imagine taking some if the retired Pro players into amateur footie and just walking everything.

Ok then , Golf Club or Football club , Me I would buy Meyrick Park here in Central Bournemouth , Great course and i would improve its condition and get rid of the dog walkers and the 2nd hole would be the Ist and I have the New Club house over looking the green of the 245 yard par 3 1st hole ( which would be the 18th ) , i have the bar upstairs so you get a nice view of that hole , the 6th green and all down the 2nd which will be the 1st . I have a waiting list to join if that ever happen

Last thing i would do would be buy a football club. A golf club/course is another question! Would love to buy one!

The Rangers......and ruin them....again.:D

Seriously though Berwick Rangers just to see what I could achieve and give the townsfolk a journey to remember.

Fancy you buying an English club!

Anyway trouble with the idea of funding a club from the lower reaches is it often ends in tears, remember Gretna and, down here, Rushden & Diamonds.

Sounds very nice. I've been to a few places with bar up top and nice to to have a good view of the course

Then all you need to do is find another 1000 yards to get it up to a decent length

On the other side of the road at Newcastle Airport Freight area, I believe there is an abandoned house, well a large stately home type of building. This was going to be purchased by Sir John Hall back in the days when he was owner of Newcastle United, his intention being to create a large golf complex, but he had planning permission turned down, so he didn't buy the building.

If I had billions in the bank I'd look to buy that same plot, restore the building to it's former glory and build the gold course and associated ancillary buildings, range etc....

I think the building is the 'n' shaped one in the middle of the map. IT was a long time ago, so the building may not be there, but that is what I'd do.

Manchester United and then move it to Surrey to be closer to their fans.

I'd have to buy my club Coventry City. Buy the Ricoh, bring them home and take them back to the Premier League. As much as I shouldn't say it I admire what the Leicester Owners have done although they should probably strengthen a little more than they have for the PL.
