If you think you know Scotland.......think again!

....compared to the Arctic sea.:D

But yes I have to agree Scotland has some fantastic scenery. I was up skiing in Aviemore earlier this year and the snow, forests, lakes and mountains were sights to behold. Definitely will be doing that trip again next year.

Lakes??? In Scotland??? ;)

Sorry, I'll try to be clearer. My point was that the poll question was "would you think about leaving?"

I'd probably answer "yes" to that, although in reality I imagine I'd only think about it for a couple of minutes. My guess is that would be fairly common if people answered the question honestly.

If, on the other hand, the question was "would you leave?", I'd answer "no". I'd expect a very low "yes" response to that question.

Rather suggests the poll is a waste of time and the headline figure of 700,000 is rather meaningless - which of course is not how BT portrayed it. All the 700,000 is liekly to be is a subset of those who will vote NO - and it is rather obvious that as they will vote NO they will be unhappy with a YES - and so the thought of leaving Scotland will have bound to have crossed their minds.

I have thought about moving back to Scotland in the event of a YES but I have missed the polls of us 800,000 down here asking if we'd think of moving back so don't know if I am alone with that thought. Would I move back? No idea - personal circumstances would determine what I did. But I've thought about it.

I find it incredible that anyone would leave based on their vote not winning, from either side.

And to take that one step further, I hope anyone thinking that way does leave, whatever the result.Whoever wins next month we'll all have to contribute to make Scotland the place we all want it to be.
so they take away the country I was brought up in and want it separated and run by politicians who clearly dont have the answers on how it will be funded or run, and you find it incredible that I don't want that and will take action to leave:confused:

And to take it one step further, I hope that anyone who votes Yes is not allowed to leave for at least 10 years. You reap what you sow!

What beautiful pictures. The outer Hebrides has got to be on lost to visit soon.

'lost to visit'?

If 'list to visit' then yes - I can thoroughly recommend a tour of some of the islands - though IMO the Inner Hebrides are perhaps the lovelier.
Ah typo.

Yes list to visit, I can feel the need to take my bike for a week next summer and catch the ferries between the islands.

I've just come back from a George Galloway speech, he could have typed this verbatim.

I had a great 18 months around the Outer Hebrides - lovely islands with great views and stunning wildlife
