Hi all,

A general question for you all...

My teaching pro is looking to refurbish his room. I have mocked up a couple of designs for him but thought I would throw the question out to you guys & gals as to what you would like to see in the room when you are having lessons.

Currently, he has the mat pointing out onto the range, a TV on the wall, cameras, and a desk with 2 screens tucked away in the corner. There is then a separate touch screen attached to the trackman to show stats etc...

I would like to see 2 TV screens and a mirror on the wall, so you can see instant feedback from Trackman and the swing on the V1 software.

My idea would be something along the lines of this but his room is smaller (and has a range not simulator)

So in an ideal world, what setup would you like to see in a room ?

Are the TV screens smash proof? Cos if anyone has the shanks... :)

I like it, clean elegant design. Is there a complimentary mirror for lefties? Do the screens need to be that big and landscape? Because if you went portrait either side of the mirror you would eliminate anyone's anxiety about hitting them.

Nice work

teaching pro I used recently had 3 very similar set up to that picture but with 3 screens, 1 for trackman, 1 for DTL camera and 1 for front on camera. Really good set up so that you could see all at once

would say as a coach you don't want a mirror directly in front of the client in a lesson - so if the room had a mirror then either on the rear wall (wall opposite the range) if there's space {given there's at least one wall mounted rear camera more & if there's a combined 3d system, plus 2 wall mounted camera's (low + high) from face on where the mirror is here - or the mirror could be on the wall behind the back of the client

ergonomically you don't want a monitor low down that you are going to have to bend down to show clients the relevant data on as you'd be doing it many times a day - or a client sliding a 'socket' through the screen

so within this graphic image ideally the 2 or 3 or 4 screens (depending on the set-up - sometimes there's 3d systems along with video along with pressure mat graphics plus launch monitor data would be in the space above the club rack, the club rack would be gone in it's place a desk or wall mounted station for computer, tablets etc.
