I had a net 66 today in our medal, although its been an improvement over the last 3 rounds I can't help feeling disappointed that it could of been better, missed 3 golden opportunities for birdie and double bogied 2 of the last 3 holes and felt deflated after the round. Think I'll sleep on it and hopefully wake up feeling better about it
Tomorrow

Nett 66 is always nice, we all leave shots out there even on our best rounds, smile and enjoy your good score they'll be plenty of not so good ones to be deflated about.

Similar story for me in todays medal.

8 over for the front 9 (-1 H/C).

Through the back 9, I was 2 over after 14th, then went bogey, bogey, D-Bogey, bogey finish to finish +7 for the back 9 (-2 H/C, -3H/C total)

Didn't chip particularly well today at all but manged to play under my handicap again for the second comp on the spin, so hopefully get another reduction.

There's always a silver lining fella. Sometimes it's just harder to see.

I feel your pain. 2 weeks ago I was off 16.5 and some good results have brought me down to 13.0 before todays game. I would have been more than happy to just play to my new handicap, but I ended up shooting a 78 (13) = 65, thinking this might have a chance only to walk into the clubhouse and find that there was a 62,63 and a 64. DEFLATED.
