Can't believe that at my age I can still be like a kid at Christmas but this morning, following on from a fitting 12 days ago, I got the call from The Belfry telling me my new irons had arrived.

Managed to avoid a speeding ticket in rushing there to collect and now they are in the bag.

Truly they are things of wondrous beauty.

Now awaiting arrival of Titleist 913 D2 driver & 913 4 wood.

The spending will then have to stop. (So she tells me!!)

Some nice pieces of kit there. The 913 fairway woods are superb. I would deffo buy one if my Burner ever starts misbehaving. You won lotto or summat Anyway good luck with them and hope they serve you well during the season

Sorry cant lie, they are great. If I were in the market for a new wood these would be top of the wish list. Nice penetrating flight, great to look at, not that hard to hit,what more could you ask for.

Yeah but you know how it is; the missus offered them as a present and it would be rude to refuse wouldn't it. Anyway she'll probably never again make the offer.

Sod it, I'll try one out over the weekend. What's the worst that could happen. I need something easy to hit off the tee and the deck but shorter than my RBZ as its too close to my driver. Is the adjustment still 1.5 degree down or 0.75 up? So either 13.5, 14.25, 15, 15.75?

Not 100% sure on the setting adjustability but I think it is still the same. There are 2 models the F and FD the FD is better for Tee shots but IMO the F is the better all round option as the FD can be a bit trickier to hit from the deck. The feel is lovely and the looks are great

I'll probably just go direct golf. Got a 20 quid off card when you spend 100 so that might make it even more tempting.
