I have now broke 100!!!!
I played with my brother in law today and shot 52 out and 44 in giving me 96. I nearly jumped in the air when I counted. I only ever count on the turn and at the end of the round and after 9 I thought I wouldn't be in with a chance but really dug in on the back 9.
I knew I had played well after a birdie on the 17th but wasn't sure if it was possible as I have always narrowly missed out. I put my tee shot out of bounds on the 270 yrd par 3 and feared the worst... Weirdly I smiled picked up another ball... Got my head down and put it 15yrds from the green... Chipped on and then went on to 3 putt. When my 6th shot lipped out I could of thrown my putter in the lake but finished off and began counting I was so shocked but think I deserved it.
Not only did I try my hardest to ruin it on the 18th but I felt I left so much out there today which makes me feel even happier knowing I could score even lower.
To top it off I beat my mate who I've never came close to beating before on Saturday. I won match play on the 17th to go two up... Best weekend of go
F and I know I may have cursed it by boasting on herebut I don't care...
Can't wait for a week of golf in the evening if the weatherman is telling the truth!
