Huawei mate 20 pro versus I phone

No you don't, i feel exactly the same way. And i Dont just mean Chinese phones. I have a problem with China period. If i can avoid it i will not buy Chinese goods.
 
I know a lot of things are made in China, it’s companies owned by the Chinese I don’t trust. Too much state control!

Don't blame you I went from the S8+ which I thought was decent, but since changing to Huawei (or as my daughter calls it the Haweewee) its been a revelation so much better

That post is one of the funniest I have read. iPhones are made in China.

I would strongly suggest to anyone purchasing a phone, chose an operating system you want, look at the specification, and then chose a phone. I guarantee you will save a fortune if you don't get hung up on brand names.

I had a Huawei P10 up until 2 weeks ago. Swapped out to the Samsung S8 but it's been driving me mad. Very glitchy.
Have ordered a new P20 to replace it. Arrives today.
It's only the "standard" P20 but I won't use the extra's that the P20 Pro would give me.

P20 Is a good phone and a definite step up from the S8, I was going to get it, but I do use the camera a lot for work and the Mrs is a very keen photographer so she uses it when we go out on walks etc. I went for the Pro only for those reasons otherwise the P20 does more than what I'd need it for.
 
One has to wonder about the buying of the latest super fandango phones, because let's be honest, other than surfing the net/facebook/twitter etc and using the camera, the vast majority don't use these phones anywhere near their potential.
 
I've always had android and I got a P20 in July. My other half changed her old iphone for the P20 Pro just after me based on how good my phone is. We are both delighted with them.

If you want to go android then the P20 range is excellent.
 
Honestly, I don't work for Xiaomi, but I own one and am a fan. I have left two links below comparing the Xiaomi Mi8 with the P20 pro and Apple 10X. Of course, if you don't want an Android phone, or you want a contract, forget it. Otherwise think again because the Xiaomi is half the price of the Huawei, and a third of the Iphone

Been using Chinese phones now for a few years I used to always go with the HTC phones but at £400 a pop its quite expensive

I also use the xiaomi currently the mi5 but will be replacing after the new year for another one no doubt the xiaomi mi8 or pocophone f1, the phones are great all the bells and whistles of the Samsung and iphones but at a third of the price, I just install a custom ROM but the stock global miui android firmware is great, pisses all over the named brands imo
