How strong are you.

Pretty rubbish really. I did my back in when I was 15, prolapsed disc so have always been careful about lifting. Age has also affected the power I had. This is the big thing. My dads 79 this year and it's weird to see him struggle lifting anything now. He used to be so strong, ex-farming stock.

Not very strong - it's my big toe that's the problem.

And my back - had serious sciatica about 10yrs ago - and I think it's chronic as I have pretty much permanent lower back pain. It's been sorer than normal last couple of times out...possibly due to 7hr drive to Glasgow and 7hr back a week later - plus a run to and from Embra in between.

So I have to be careful what I lift and how I lift it.
