Does your ban extend to Lanzarote, or aren't you taking the sticks?

Dividing the annual fees by 12, say £38, fuel negligible. On top of that I spent £24 on 3 sleeves of different balls, for experimental purposes. Let's call it £62. The unused balls still have re-sale value of course, so I'll have to round it down to say £45.

Worth every penny.

Last month was not too bad for me. Courses are nearby so only about £10.00 on travelling. Am not a member anywhere at the moment so spent about £40.00 in green fees. Other than that, £15.00 on balls and 75p on tees.

Since I managed to ditch my club buying adiction, the average spend has gone right down (though I did have a go with some Mizuno MX950s the other day so may not be out of the woods yet)

£300 on coaching

Jeezypeeps, Steve. You getting lesson from Leadbetter?!

Ha ha, I know. It's a 6 month intensive coaching program with Kevin Craggs. 2, 2-3 hour intensive lessons each month. Videos, written objectives etc.

It sounds expensive, but (I feel) a program like this is much better than the numerous 30 minute lessons I have had where you're just getting into the lesson then it's time to stop.

I did one last year, with the mindset if coaching like that didn't help me then I wouldn't go for another lesson again, as I must be past saving.

It did help though, handicap down from 14 to 11 and a good injection of consistency into my game. Wanted to do one this year as I felt I was getting closer to a good swing, and short game needed work.

Glad my partner doesn't read this forum!

As long as it's working and you're enjoying the improvements then it's money well spent, in my opinion, Steve.

I've spent quite a lot in lessons over the last few years but it's only now I can ease off to buying block lessons of 4 x half hour lessons to take whenever I feel I have to. Works out quite cheap that way.

A lot, I had (almost) 'forgotten' how much. Now you've made me remember!

£95 - course of 5 lessons
£240 - TalyorMade driver and 5-wood
£30 - Jacket (had to return the older one as the zip had gone and this was the diff between the refund and the new)
£32 - 36 new balls (Wilson Deep Reds and Warbirds) - still in their wrapping
£20 - range balls
£38 - dd on season ticket
fuel - course is both on the way home and only 10 mins away.
