He IS wrong.
Clubs are better and so are shafts, he also says the lie is important (so that means you need a fitting). One club doesn't suit all as there IS a myriad of different golf swings out there. The reason why a club works for a while and then not is because our swing changes a little and then doesn't necessarily suit that club any more. Adjustable drivers will really help with that... I don't know if adjustable irons are available but restassured if someone slices and gets a set of irons where the face is more closed they WILL slice it less.................. for a while![]()
But...with decent tuition...you'd hit a set of £40 dunlops as well as some tm R11's. As long as the shafts, lie and length were the same!...
Nah... you're assuming everyone CAN or WILL change their swing, and then keep it there... that's not ever going to happen so you need different clubs.
Lulz...I hope you've had a few sherries...so you're telling me swings change, so everything needs to be adjustable...but what if the swing changes again...instead of learning to play...just buy something...

Watching that has just confirmed that I don't need to buy that shiny new driver down at AG tomorrow!
recently switched from ProV1x to Srixon AD333s made no difference to my game and actually shot best score in 10 months.
