Do you use in a round? and does it matter? gone the v1x route and and done 3 rounds with 1 ball, yes i am tight!

I tend to stick wiht one ball per round unless it gets particularly scuffed. It tends to make precious little difference to my game if it has a few little battle marks. There again no guarantee I'll keep a ball for the whole round anyway

Usually until I lose it, 36 holes with current as I hit a new one OB on the first last week. :o

Ball was already second hand anyway so might be ancient.

Last year a ball would last a few rounds before it ended up in the practice bag. This year it lasts a few holes before the ball pixies steal it and I have to get another one out of my bag.

Played 5 1/2 rounds with the same ProV1x lake ball a while back.
Still looked ok and would have seen out the round and maybe a couple more if I hadn't blasted it into the back of beyond....
I normally have 1 in play and 1 in the pocket.
Might alternate occasionally but normally don't need more than these...

Mine last up to point I lose it. So if I am having a good day, 18 holes. When I played Bude the other week, about 5 minutes.

Lovely course but a bitch to play on your own for the first time. At the start of the round I was wandering why they don't have bells to tell people they are clear to play. By the end of the round I worked out that reason they don't have bells is that if they did, it would sound like someone is getting married all the time. Talk about blind shots, which combined with plenty of humps and hollows made for an interesting 2 rounds. My particular favourite was I think the 14th, blind tee shot, blind approach shot. Some how I managed to par it, but it was probably the luckiest par there's ever been. I was just happy to find my tee shots, anything on vaguely flat ground on a fairway was a bonus.

Cough, Cough COUGH,CouGH

Bounce games and provided the remote works properly keeping it out of the mire, 3/4 for a pro v.
For comps start with a new one and if it's still with me it moves to the bounce section.

with the amount of water and trouble around our place, I usually allow a ball to retire if it makes it through 1 round!! It goes in the practice bag or for practice rounds but have gave a few to the weeman for to play in the garden with.
Start all comps with a new ball.

One in play and one in the pocket. This will sound sad but its only over the past few rounds ive been using 1/2 balls. Ebay has been a god send for lakeballs!

One scabby ball on the first tee to donate to the driving range, then maybe one ball for about 14 holes only for it to disappear into the woods never to be seen again. Normal round is 3 if I'm lucky and keep the first ball in play then 2 and by some miracle I don't shove one in the pond on the 15 then 1. Worst to date in a comp round was 9 balls.
