How did you come up with your name?

I thought of this a while ago and i think it might generate a bit of banther and craic.
Just wondering how you came up with your forum name.
I have Kid we'll forget the number as i had to use this as other people had used the name Kid before....
The reason i used it was when i was 18 i started work in a factory where everyone was considerably older than me and the used to call me it...Ask the Kid...The Kid will get it send the Kid..... and when they were greeting me it went Hows the Kid....
As you can imagine hearing this so much i began to say it myself to people and to this day to my annoyance and habit i still do.....Im 35 now
Its weird though how nicknames stick to you even more so at times than the name you were baptised with....I have 1 or 2 others that people gave me also but ill use this to get the ball rolling for the time being.

I call myself pokerjoke as i used to play the poker sites just for fun,hence the joke bit.My nickname is the EDGE long story.

I used to play that classic computer game "Quake" a fantastic first person shooter (FPS)
When you shoot someone, its not called shooting, its called "Fragging", so a fragger is one who frags.

It started as one of those nicknames on a drunken night in the pub. I think I was playing darts for the team and either missed the board or did something equally daft and for a laugh came out with DOH! and it snowballed.

In fact I'm hardly ever referred to by my proper name in the pub, less so at the gof club now and even work are getting in on the act now.
