At home ill today, touch of man flu. A bad combination is boredom and the internet. So far I have bought a sky caddie sg5, a hill billy electric cart, and a titleist cart bag. My bank have phoned up to see if my card is being used fraudulently.

On the plus side, I have emptied my wardrobe of golf related stuff (mainly tired old clubs), and have raised £300 to offset the above expenditure.

Next up, a hill billy umbrella holder....

That is some spending mate, good work.

Got a link to the cart bag? Is it sexier than Medwayjons?

P.S. Hope you feel better soon

It is the same model as Jons, but is blue and white. Only problem is it is way too nice to get dirty, so may need to get another one for the winter!

Plagiarism!!

I really need to get a trolley and trolley bag soon, my ankle plays up in the cold and aches like a bitch after more than 9 holes.

P.S. do you know if jon is going to put pics up of our last meet?

You wont be disapointed with the SkyCaddie. I bought the 2.5 and used it for the for time yesterday and thought that it was brilliant. Par for my course is 69, my handicap is 15 and I went round in 93!!!! :D But I found it very useful.

I wouldnt take too many days off though mate, cuz it could cost you a fotune!

Yeah, I'm going to have to get better soon before I go bankrupt.

No idea what Jon did with any photos. He mainly seemed to be taking photos of his bag!

I know the power of impulse spending so well. A man, his pc, a love of golf and his credit card. A more potent cocktail is not known to mankind and the high of unwrapping shiny new golf kit is wonderful

There is a story behind the pictures, It involves a clumsy person, an SD card, a trouser pocket and a washing machine!!!

I can quite understand why anyone would want one of those bags, they are simply beautiful to behold. Will have to line them up for synchronised photo's at the next meet.

No feeling sorry for yourself. We only lost on the 17th, that wasn't bad. Could have been worse.

You didn't run out of balls, you finished with 14 clubs, it didn't rain, you got a go in Jon's pimp mobile, how bad a day was that?

Next week's Half-term and HID and the Boy are going up to the In-Laws for the week. Got a feeling the card may take a bit of a hammering while the Boss is away!!

Cheers for the kind words, I have to perform the next time I play.

Quality shopping spree! Been doing a bit of that myself but in the evenings when missus watches her tv shows!

Got my eyes on a Bushnell range finder and Ping Redwood putter next!

Anything else still to come on your shopping spree?

Always a good idea to have some clean trousers with you. No ex boy scout should be without.

Once I am no longer carrying, I'm sure there will be no end to the junk I can cram in there.
