Anyone wear any of these kind of wrist bands and if so, what do you think?

I suppose they have to work but is it mainly all psychological?

We all accept that the game can be won & lost between the ears but can these wrist bands truly enhance your natural energy flow and send positive frequencies into and through your body?

I have a lucky rabbit's foot if you want it for £100... let me know and I'll go cut it off for you :mmm: don't tell the kids.......

Was given a Copper bracelet with magnets for Christmas a while back.

Was happy to wear it, but it never made an iota of difference to my health or happiness as far as I was concerned. I was probbly meant to polish it with Snake Oil though.

Well I am gonna throw my thoughts in.

Now I am the last person that I know to believe in this type of stuff. I never really considered it at all but have had a couple of long term niggles with my knee and elbow that regularly gave me problems after playing golf. Old footie and Karate injuries. Nothing that would make you think twice about playing but sometimes part way through the round my knee would be aching fairly bad and very occasionally affect my game. Driving home afterwards and I would get regular twinges from the elbow.

I was given a load of American golf vouchers last year for a present and spent a couple of hours choosing what I wanted and cashing it in at the till. The sales assistant announced that I had a 3 for 2 and had bought 2 items so got one free. He was wearing a TrionZ bracelet and I had asked him about that (he said it really helped) and they were right behind the till so I just picked one up there and then.

I really wasn't sure but tried it and I have not had anything in terms of aches since - I still can't get my head round it. I have it on now and don't play golf without it not to play better just for the aches etc.

Anyway that's pretty decent enough but what really changed my mind was my Father-in-Law. He used to be a shipwright and his wrists are fairly bad from all the corking of ships he used to do - he has suffered for years with loads of cortisone injections. Last Christmas he was looking fairly downbeat about life and said his wrists were playing up bad - not sleeping etc. So I offered him my TrionZ band not really thinking it would help. He reckoned it was the first time he had slept well for years and we went to AG the next day to get him 2 more - wears them all the time. He still has a few twinges but loves em. And I still can't explain it!!

As for me - my mates call me Magneto!!

Similar story to above. Suffered with chronic back and rib pain after playing a round or going to the range. I was seriously thinking about packing it in as I couldn't sleep for the pain.
In AG one day and picked up the trion-z. This was around 8 months ago and whilst I often feel a little stiff (ooh err missus) the other pain has gone.
Placebo effect - very probable but it appears to work for me. Now, if I could only find the same thing for my swing.

If it works for you then go for it, certainly not going to knock anyone who is saying they've had a beneficial effect on pain from any product.

But for me - well, I've posted this before ... show me a double blind clinical trial in a scientific journal that says they have an effect, and I'll buy a band for each wrist tomorrow. But all of the serious studies that Google will show me says that a placebo will do just as good a job. (ChrisD, none of the studies specify it, but I think that applies to stiffness as well. You need a different type of band :D)
