So the wife wanted to take grandkids (15 and 6 yo) away on May BH week. Caravan near a beach was the only criteria for her, mine was near golf, I hate beaches. We looked, the prices were eye watering, to stay in a tin can. No way I was shelling out that much. We kept looking and availability has virtually disappeared. So I looked last night for an apartment near a beach or guest houses. I ended up, due to not putting kids in the search bit, looking at a site in Cumbria....near...Siloth. Putting the kids in, removed availability. Very odd. Checked actual site itself. They had availability, but at a high price. I changed search to Monday to Friday. Poooof. MEGGA price drop. We're booked. LOL! I've never played Siloth, but I will be next year. Woooooooo!
 
Wahooo, went even cheaper last night when I went to pay for it. :D
Thing is if you book the BH week end and 7 days its crazy prices, but if you book Monday to Friday so four days its LESS than half????? Anyhoo, that's what we've done so everyone's a winner.
Along with our 5 day trip to Portugal for £150 including Flights/Apartment+car, Newcastle trip and Oxford trip things are looking good so far. :D
