Had a game yesterday, at Rushmore Park, near Shaftesbury Dorset, and my mate, who plays of 8 had a hole in one ( well sort of ) playing the 17th, par 3 165 ydrs, he put his first ball OB then taking 3 off the tee he hit a 7 iron, hit bottom of the flag on the full and droped in, he was so gutted about the first ball but still a nice par.

I've hit the flag on a par 3 and a par 4, but not in a "ooo, that nearly went in" way, more of a "good job it hit the flag or it would be on the next fairway" way
