Hi guys

I have been lurking on here making the odd post and I thought it was finally time to say hello!

I have been playing this glorious game off and on for about 8 years now and have not picked up a club for 3 years until 3 months ago. That was when my affliction with this game began.

I currently play 2-3 times per week and I visit the range 2-3 times also - I feel the areas of my game I was struggling with are improving rapidly too!

I decided to start taking the game seriously, bought myself a new set of clubs and joined my local club. I have just received my official CONGU handicap of 18.

I am now looking forward to next season when I can get my teeth stuck into the competitions and hopefully lower my handicap.

I am hoping with the excellent advice and tips on here that my scores will drop quickly!

Thanks Matt

Welcome matt, were a friendly and very helpful bunch on here, whether you want advice or not:D

Ping G15 23 Degree Hybrid
Ping G15 Irons 5 - SW
Titleist Vokey 52 And 60 Degree Wedges
Taylormade Spider Ghost Putter
Odyssey Sabertooth 2 Putter
And a V-Easy

Welcome to the Madhouse..........

Thanks all - yes working hard on my game at the moment! The short game is my downfall hence the purchase of Bob's excellent training aid.

I do like Ping very much but after trying the new R11 Taylormade irons I feel a change in the wind possibly? They were fantastic to try in the net but I have not had the chance to see the ball flight on the range, I have quite a quick swing and my high ball flight suggests I should have gone for a slightly stiffer shaft than the standard AWT. The Ping hybrids however are excellent and are here to stay for sure.

Looking forward to reductions and soon I hope, thanks for the warm welcome.
