I know it's relatively important from the UK perspective as to who lives in the White House but I always wonder if Countries like Germany, France, Japan etc etc give as much coverage to it all as we do.....?
It almost gives the impression that the US elections are more important than ours..

From a global prospective. They probably are. But their effect on policies such as child benefit being capped, probably not.

"I will improve the standard of living for all and put more money back in the pockets of hard working Americans" He was going to do this by scrapping the Obama care system that has helped to create a form of health care so everyone can get to see a doctor.

"Scotland are to blame for the storm that is hitting America due to all the oil they keep pumping out of the sea affecting global warming" so shall we forget about the billions of barrels that are pumped out of Texas every year?

Boss has just returned from a trip to Oslo... Was surprised just how much coverage the election was getting... Not as much as here but more than you'd think...

Frightening amounts of dollars are spent on trying to win the election... One guy alone reputedly 'investing' 100m dollars into backing Romney...

Wether we like it or not the US leadership getting it right or wrong does have an impact on our economy... So I wish Obama well...

Perhaps this is the reason the casino owners pumped literally 100's of millions into Romney's campaign for presidency... So he'd use the money saved closing down Obama's healthcare programs to invest into discount flights for gamblers right to their doorstep...
