Hernia repair - how long?

Had a bilateral hernia inguinal hernia repair on 28th October. Left side I have noticed an improvement. Right side however is a different story. Feel like layers in my abs are stitched together and certain movements cause this to feel like pinching and sometimes a sharp shocking pain. Follow-up tomorrow but hoping to be able to hit a ball before the new year. Anyone else have experience with the operation and recovery times?

Only the four (two each side). While they aren't causing pain and discomfort I'm leaving well alone, as advised by the doctors and surgeons at my place.

Too much practicing? Just do it on the course instead.

I had a hernia operation when I was 19, when it was a lot more invasive. The doc then said no work or sports for 6 weeks, I asked about golf, he said ok after 2 weeks.

As I was off work I played twice a day for a fortnight solid -madness when I look back now,as golf involves lots of stretching,but I was an indestructible 19 year old at the time (in my head).Daft by the doctor,also.
