Helloo,
I need a little advice from the guys on here! I have a H/C of 27 at my course as you may know from my previous posts my practice is paying off shooting way under my handicap. I do not usually play competitions often but this summer i am going to have alot more chance to do some comps. Question is shall i just put cards in and get cut that way or play some competitions and most probably win on stableford but be labelled a bandit! what do i do? Help please!
Thanks in advance

Play as many rounds as you can and get as many competitive cards in as you can to get cut. The problem starts though when it's a competition. Its easy with no pressure but trying to do it especially a medal can make you start questioning yourself. The secret is more to do with getting the head right than hitting the ball

Put some new cards in now to be assessed and see if your Hcp is adjusted.

As for playing comps. dont worry about it, approach it the same as every other round. No point thinking about it differently, that wont help.

Like others have said play as much as you can. You've got a 27 handicap which is about as high as you can get, The only way from there is down so it's a natural progression to get better. If you're playing well enough to be labelled a bandit, it will come down quickly and you'll soon find your real level.
