Rather than add to the main H4H thread, thought I would start a new one for details of items to be auctioned.

So far we have sold four balls at Liphook, Farnham, and West Surrey, and currently we have the following to auction over the next few weeks.

Bramley
Chart Hills
Cooden Beach
Coombe Hill
Kenilworth
Newbury and Crookham
Slaley Hall
The Army
The Berkshire (including lunchtime carvery)
Tandridge
West Hill

Hope you will agree that there is a good selection of courses on offer, and if I have left any off, please add to this thread.

Hopefully Greg (GB72) will come on and list the items he has currently been promised. Anyone thinking of buying an electric trolley or cart bag may want to wait a while.

If any forumer has anything they think would make a good auction item, please give details on here. Most of the items will be initially put on the forum, and finished off by the auctioneer, Mark Head, on the big day. This means forumers not playing at West Hill still get a chance to bid.

Any queries just ask.

Rich

It has been hard work getting auction items this year. A number of the larger golf companies have chosen to support just one charity and many of the smaller ones are concentrating on local causes. So, a massive thanks to those who have shown support, not just this year but, in many cases, for just about every year since this started. Whether these are auction items, prizes or for raffling is up to Rick and Rich but so far we have:

A Go-Kart from the ever supporting Sandy. I believe this is going to be the new model with the automatic speed control.

A Stewart Z3 push trolley. Mark at Stewart Golf has supported this every year as well. He is doing some crazy amount of endurance events this year to raise money himself so if anyone sees me re-tweet his just giving page on Twitter and fancies donating I am sure that he would appreciate it.

A Ping Pioneer Cart Bag like this http://www.ping.com/Bags/CartDetail.aspx?id=14084 in Silver and Black. Lovely bag this and, again, Ping have been great supporters.

2 Galvin Green Shirts including a lovely one in purple that I really like. This is another company that supports us every year.

A dozen balls from Titleist. Again, they send these every year without question.

There are also the discount codes and websire from IJP Design and Loudmouth Golf. Loudmouth are also due to be sending me some vouchers to use as prizes.

Will put all the courses on the forum couple of weeks before the big day. Most will then end with the auction at West Hill. Worked well last year as it meant the auctioneer already had bids on the courses, and the auction for each course was nice and quick. Anyone not playing on the day can leave a a maximum bid with Rick or myself.

Just to whet the appetite we now have a fourball at Bearwood Lakes as well thanks to PNWokingham, and his negotiating skills. Thanks Paul.

Sounds a good idea - We hold auctions regularly at our place but the main issue is how long it takes to get them done properly whilst allowing people to bid. Is there a general list anywhere when we can see all the items that are to be in the auction?

Richard, Rick,

Normally I would go for a 4 ball but am currently skint, having blown all my available pennies on a mid life crisis car. Good luck with the auction and sorry I cannot make it the event year.

This thread is the general list and will be updated as we hear of new items. Nearer the day new threads will be opened with specific details.

Bearwood Lakes fourball has been added to the above.

Not a problem, you have always been a good supporter of the charity.

Not a problem?....... If we fail to meet our target it will be all Snelly's fault and he should subsequently auction his car and donate the proceeds to HFH........I'll start the bidding at £10

Played in the PFA golf day today at The Centurion. Mick Hartford came 3rd and won an RBZ stage 2 hybrid (#3 -19 degrees) with stiff shaft. He didn't want it and gave it to me, so it's now added to the auction list. Cheers Mick... top bloke.
