Help - Burning music onto disk

Hi all.

Apologies for the luddite question, but how do I go about burning music from iTunes onto a 4.7GB DVD-RW for playing in my car? Do I select burn an 'Audio CD', 'MP3 CD' or 'Data CD/DVD'?

Does your car read dvds for a start fella, not many do.
secondly, is it an mp3 compatible headunit?

Depends what your CD player in your car will play, Del. Check your instruction manual.

Ah, good question. I just thought that a 4.7GB DVD would hold more music than a 700MB CD-R. I was hoping to put 162 tracks (1.3GB) onto one disk. Is that a non-starter?

Yes, the sound system plays MP3's.

what is the make and model of the radio matey?

It's a VW RCD510 fitted in a 2006 Golf GTI. Six disk in-dash multi-changer and touch-screen control.

Nope it doesnt do dvds, it does do SD cards though which is quicker and easier to change tunes on.

If the head unit plays mp3's then burn mps'3 to a cd-r. You should be able to get at least 150 mp3's on a cd.
