This is really for the guys coming to the Ascot meet but I wanted to make sure the relevant party's read it so bear with me and hence the reason it's here (at least to start with)

I promised a number of guys who were coming down early a game at Ascot on the 8th. I thought there were three of you and we'd have a fourball but I can't for the life of me remember who said they were playing. Can you let me know (and what sort of time would suit)

OK so we've got Pieman, Redwood and myself. Anyone want to make a 4. I'm happy on time but as Redwood has to come from Cornwall perhaps towards 2 might be better so he can have some grub and stretch his legs etc

I'm actually in London (work there during the week, every week) but will probably work in the morning, maybe from the Starbucks on Ascot High Street and then saunter down to the club for a drink and a bite before heading out, so any time after 1pm is fine.

Martin,I can leave Merseyside.6.7.8 oclock and arrive before lunchtime.will have a leisurely drive down,the earlier I leave.Maybe if i arrive lunchtime ,may chance my luck and try and book into travelodge Bracknell,before heading for the course. Bill
