Hi guys. Just starting into golf and after the masters I'm even more looking forward to it. I'm not a member anywhere yet but have yet to break 100 when I have played a full 18 hole course. Started playing last summer and tend to play round a local par 3 course. Only get out 2 or 3 times a month due to work commitments and the weather really hasn't helped.

Currently using an old set of Cobra clubs I was given by a friend but hopefully if I get better I will treat myself to a new set.

Been lurking for a while and decided to come on here and hopefully get some advice down the line.

I live near between Cavan and Monaghan near the Fermanagh border. There's a few good courses not that far away but I've not got to a level I'm comfortable playing them yet. Played mostly at the Par 3 course at the Slieve Russell as it is not to far and is cheap. There is some practice facilities as well that I use there. With the weather recently and work I've not been out much at all.
