Hi everyone, I'm new here.

I've only been playing since summer this year, so I'm still in the early stages of learning. I've been going to the pro at my local course since then and have so far had eight lessons with him. He's really helped improve my game, even at these early stages.

I actually bought a starter set of Dunlop clubs from AG, four or so years ago and went for a few lessons at a driving range I used to live by. I gave up after only a couple of lessons as I felt they were more interested in selling me new clubs than actually helping me get a foot on the golfing ladder. The clubs had lain dormant in my garage since then.

Anyway, this summer I got back into it. The pro I'm getting lessons with is really helping my game and I'm going to join my local course in the next week or so.

Pleased to meet you all and I'm sure I'll be asking for your advice on so many issues in the future.

I've been playing around some of the 9 hole muni's around Chester and occasionally at Mollington Grange GC where a couple of my work colleagues are members.

I've been having lessons at Chester GC.

Well, I'm pretty new to golf. I'm a big football fan and a season ticket holder at Liverpool.

Other than football and golf, my other main interests are music. I'm a keen guitarist and used to play in a band not so long ago.

I'm an electrical engineer, living in Chester with my wife who's expecting our first little 'un in March.

welcome to the forum i hope u enjoy your stay. i am learning to play golf got my first lessons after the new year.

i would not worry about mention any football on here cause Liverpool are having a fantastic season so far (not)
