Hello from a newbie

Hi,

Also new here, seems like theres a few of us here.

I need helps with my game. I have trouble in the bunkers. What sort of shot am i supposed to be taking, i cant work it out, some sand is heavy, some is soft, some has stones in it...whats going on! No wonder i cant get out!!!

I'm new ish to golf, my hubby got me into it and i've been hooked ever since.

Welcome to the forum Jay.
The bunker shot requires a different technique from all other golf shots.
With the bunker shot, you need to move the ball forward in your stance, just inside your left heal.
Then try and hit the sand 2-3 inches behind the ball going in about 2-3 inches deep.
Because you are going in deep into the sand, you will need a big swing and follow through.
Most people I see having bunker problems, quit on the shot and dont follow through.
So, to sum up, ball forward, hit the sand hard and follow through with a high finish,
