Hc question

My question is:

I've put in my first hc card of 83 with one triple boggey, today I've put in my 2nd card and got a 81 with a 10 on the 6th par 4 si 1
Par is 68 and SSS is 66

So will my triple and 10 count as a double boggey for the handicap cards or is that just compititions ?

Yes, for handicap purposes all your rubbish scores are rounded down to double bogeys. You should be on for a pretty good handicap. Unforunately, this luxury doesn't run to competitions.

Yes both will be rounded your 83 will become 82 and your 81 will be 77 which would give you a handicap of 11 as handicap is off best of 3 cards currently. In comps scores are rounded to a net double bogey. Great scoring for an initial handicap you played before?

That's good going to reach a decent standard fairly quickly I'm sure you'll relish being a club member and getting to play club comps and maybe some open to. Enjoy!
