I was on the inside of the dogleg on 17 most of the time.

Did I see you half way down the first on Thursday? Was gonna say hello but didnt want to disturb you whilst you were 'working'

I may well have been there if it was before 10am. I would not have been "working" just watching
I was given the job of "hole captain" for the 17th, so did not need to start work until 10 which was when I would have met the team near the 1st tee of the East course and briefed them on their "jobs".
So long as there are no players in the area, you can "disturb" any marshal - most welcome it!
