Has the Masters Par 3 Become a Joke?

It is what it is. It doesn't carry any prize money or RC points and its about giving the fans a bit of fun. I'm not sure its really an ideal event for TV apart from raking the cash on the incessant breaks. At least Hazel tried to keep the programme moving and is a better presenter than Lineker. Can you imagine how grating it would have been watching him try and hold it all together.

Personally I didn't watch too much. I was sad to see Palmer hit his first poorly down the 1st hole and can't get excited about watching kids putt out. Nice to see in snippets but couldn't sit and watch it all
 
I would rather the old has beens played this, and freed up a few spaces in the main comp for some up and comings.

I mean, Watson, come on, what's all that about. Minus 5, on day one? He should be restricted to just the par 3. He's had his time.
 
Life in the old dog yet. It shows you that a lot of Augusta guile can still compete with brute force. I'd love to see Watson contention on Sunday and finally succumb to a Westwood birdie for victory

Exactly - who does he think he is - the winner of 8 Majors or something? Tom - give it up will you, you're embarrasing yourself!!!

Was sad to see Arnie shuffling about and looking like he needed a buggy just to get round - however by all accounts I was the same a couple of weeks ago after being out all night helping my missus celebrate her birthday!!

And is it me or is Hazel Irvine getting more attractive the older she gets? Obviously need to seriously cut down on the Rioja every evening!!!
