Hark at Padraig with his 61 blows

Good effort - lets see if he can hold it together for 4 rounds!

Hope he can.....Im a huge fan and even i think that its gonna be harder for him to get back than Tiger.......
I would love to see him get a win because if he does it should rekindle his drive again.....

No one can accuse him of not putting in the effort anyway.

Hes a great golfer but just analyses and messes with everything far to much. Sometimes you gotta forget all the technical stuff, tee up and swing with confidence! So they tell me anyway.

OR....

Wait until it pays off and you start shooting 10 under because you actually learned something about your swing..............

If Harrington has hit form he`s defo one to watch at the Masters as past showings when he`s been in form are very good,I seem to remember some years back he took a huge lead in the first round at the Masters and then fell away,as a Major winner twice he may have the head now to win the Masters.

In a way, Harrington's in a similar boat to Tiger.
He's been pretty much at the top - certainly one of the best players in the World when he won his Majors - but has slipped alarmingly recently (currently 90th in the rankings).

So, as with the Tig, one round doesn't make a comeback but it is a sign that things may be about to turn the corner. It needs to if he wants any hope of making the RC side for Chicago.

good to see him putting in a good score, always seemed like a decent chap, hes really slipped to 90th? didnt realise it was that big of a slide

great to see him shoot a low round,as already said seems a good guy..unfortunatly cant see him posting another 3 good rounds....hope am wrong

Good to see old Porridge back on top of a leaderboard. It is doing it for four rounds that has been the big problem. Would love to see him get back on form but not sure it'll be soon and I can't see him in the RC this year

Sad to watch. Is this the beginning of the end of another of the European main guard. On the plus side I think the future is safe with the likes of Lewis and Fleetwood etc coming through but its always a shame when a top player begins to struggle. I really hope he finds something that clicks like Thursday on a regular basis

if you saw anything of the thursday round it was just a day of lucky putting I'm afraid, he could'nt miss from over 15ft, a couple of cricket pitch length, for me the next 3 days were very predictable unfortunately.
