Handicap recovery

I was a member of the Bedford Golf Club, playing off 9.0. the club closed in September 2020 (sold to developers) and then we went into lockdowns. I have just found a new club to join, but they want my CDH number. I can't contact the Bedford GC obviously, any idea how I go about getting it transferred over??
