Handicap expectations

Evening everyone!

I am here to talk about my handicap. Sorry, this is a selfish post...
I'm a junior, and as you may know, handicap is the one important thing to me.
My handicap is 10.8 at the moment, started of with 12.0 two months ago. I've played in 4 comps shooting : 38 34 37 38. (first cut was by 0,3 now it's sadly by 0,2/shot under my par)
I'd absolutely LOOVE to reach 9 handicap or even get better than that.
My swing at the moment has never been so good shooting +3 on a short 9 hole course but unfortunately I have exams coming up which won't give me the time to play much any more :'( + i'm not playing AT ALL in July but playing everyday in August, but not many comps as my club weirdly decides to only have 2 singles that month and the rest are doubles (4bbb) ... Thats why i'm planning to play in junior regional tournies.
Anyway, I'm really keen but I only get the chance to play in +/- 10 comps a year.

What would you expect my hcp to be end of october?

It's impossible to say what your handicap will be but I will say this.......

Relax, enjoy your golf, prepare well for the comps that you do get a chance to play in and above all enjoy yourself. Don't put yourself under pressure to shoot any particular score as this will tend to backfire on you.

Don't expect anything just enjoy your golf. As a junior there should be lots of open comps available to you in July/august during school hols, your junior rep should have all the details if not try your loal golf union website for a list or even golf empire.
Good luck with the exams enjoy your golf and the handicap cuts will come.
