Handicap Cut

As a result of my play on Saturday i received a 0.3 reduction to 17.0. Gone from 19.4 to 17.0 so far so good.

However went up 0.1 as a result of my poor performance yesterday.

Still down by 2.3 since the start of the season.

an nr does just as much damage as submitting a crap score. You can only ever get a 0.1 increase for either.

I thought if you say finished 6 over you hcp then you got 0.3 back on your hcp and 0.2 for every shot under your hcp?

Outside the buffer you only go up .1 at a time. Oh, you can get cut if you NR. Now, that will get you all talking.

No your handicap should never increase more than 0.1 per time

Clause 20.4 from the CONGU handicap system.

"20.4 Subject to the provisions of Clauses 18.4 and 18.5, if a player returns a score with a Nett Differential above his Buffer Zone or records a ‘No Return’ his Exact Handicap is increased by 0.1"
