Half way house- is it a good thing ?

Eastwood, I used to be a member there, its a nice track and always looks as though its been hoovered. When I was there the half way hut was very rarely open.

I liked the changes however some of the slopes on the new greens were farcical. I think it was the 9th or the 10th, stupid big dogleg left to right and up the hill. If you were above the hole on that green you couldn't keep the ball on the green if you missed the putt.

It was either a 1 putt or 3+ putt from the above the hole. I have been away about 5 years from Eastwood and would like to go back and see how its matured since the changes. May make a point in playing the Quaich this year.

The inclusion of "Facilities" around the course will always be welcomed by those with a weak bladder.

Saves hooking your drive into the woods to find a tree :o

We have one at Rudding Park but its between the par 5 10th and the par 3 11th we have a loo there as well so ideal.
Its well used and well run and doesnt seem to slow play. We order before we tee off the 9th and collect after we putt out on the 10th. And the foods good.
