For some reason HID suggested on a whim we should go to the range this afternoon. Shes never picked up a club before and hates me even having golf on tv so even though i was a bit wary after Mondays collapse by the coast i thought id better make the most of the opportunity.
So after getting her set up with a glove,club,some balls and general pointers about grip,stance and swing it was time for me to grab a club. For some reason i decided to take the club ive been having most trouble with, my 3I, first off and wouldnt you know it........210 straight down the middle of the range. Fluke i thought. Nope,2nd one went the same way. And the 3rd,4th,5th,6th etc.
Every club i picked up i was hitting well. Even my drives were straight and went for miles. Had the odd duffer but i did hit about 75 balls so that was expected.
So the $64,000 question is..........do i bring HID with me every time im going for a round?
She seemed to be a lucky charm today cos not only was my last round awful my range sessions are never, and i mean NEVER, productive!
