H4H auction items

Looking for items we can auction on line for Help For Heroes charity. Unfortunately we will not be able to hold an auction on the day due to Covid restrictions.

Four balls always do well, so please ask your clubs if they would be willing to donate for such a good cause. Also three balls playing with a member are popular, and a great way to meet forumers.

Items do do not have to be 3 and 4 balls, so if you have any clubs you don’t need, balls you will not use etc, post them on this thread, and we will auction them off.

I will do a separate thread for bids, so please just post on here anything you think will raise some money. Unfortunately with all the restrictions we are unlikely to raise a total amount and have in the past, but every little helps.

To get the ball rolling I will donate a three ball at Blackmoor, and Paul at Swinley will I am sure donate a three ball there. ?

I was given 4 wedges by Benross for Rick's day, as they were a late sponsorship / gift I created a last minute best card prize, and as we were in 3-balls I have one left over.

You can have it to auction but ideally it still needs to be recognised as a Benross contribution not mine.

It's 56*/12, REV Black Wedge with a KBS shaft.

I'll take some photo's but its all in heat wrap.

I was lucky to experience a cobra fitting through the forum in 2018 and had an amazing year using the gear and arccos technology, which is built into the grips at the end of the clubs.

Sadly, Cobra never renewed my contract at the end of the 2018 season, and despite using them the following year, the irons and wedges were replaced.

I'd like to donate them to the auction to raise money for the H4H forum charity.

The irons are the "forged tour" version. 5-GW. XP 90 stiff shafts. Fairly compact iron and great feel to them. They are half an inch longer than standard. The wedges are the Cobra PUR wedge and are the same spec. The 56 is bent to 55, so the wedge gapping is 50, 55 and 60. As you can see from the pics, the Arrcos sensors come built into the grips (not screwed on the end).

I can post more pictures if required. They are in fantastic condition , no dings or dints, and I'll give them a clean before I ship them out. (I'll even pay postage mainland uk)

Just a quick update on the auction items.

They all close at 21.00 this Sunday, and I am sure no one would want to bid at the last minute to get a bargain. Get your bids in nice and early so we get the best price for each item.

If we do get any last minute bids, I will keep the auction open for a further hour from the last bid. It is all about raising as much money as possible for Help For Heroes, but I know forumers that have kindly donated auction items like to know they have got top dollar for their item.

Rich why not make the Mizuno bag a sealed bid auction, people can PM you with their bids?
