Another subject but I rarely go on motorways as I walk to work and only travel a few times a year. I see at least 3 middle lane hoggers and under taking motorists.
I frequently pass people starting in the far left, going to the outside and back to the far left again. When they see that they often think "why did he need to do that" then suddenly realise they are doing 55 in the middle lane and move over.
Im so glad i do less than 7k a year on the roads as I hate how bad other drivers can be!
And to add to this rant! I got overtaken while turning into a junction today! I pulled into the actual box to turn right and then as I turned in some insane person, the road ahead in the junction was clear (as far as I could see, no idea if he actually could see it was clear) passed me as I turned right, driving onto the other side of the road of the junction I was turning into!
Where did it get him? Stuck behind the same learner driver who turned in a minute before. Couldnt pass that for nearly a mile, risked both my life and his for all of 4 yards until I turned off the road before he bloody did.
Ive lived in my village for only 4 years an the same thing has happend 3 times at the junction, most people use the box to turn right but some seem to think its a perfect place to save some time.
I just hope it never happens when the wife is in the car.
Im sure not many can top regular insanity like that.
