Grip

Looked at my grip via the help of my iPod, and it just doesn't look right.

Is it just me ? I highly doubt it ne:

So what do you think is wrong? Personally I think there are many ways to grip and there is no "correct" grip per se. Don't see much wrong there but it's not that clear. Question is, does it work?

May sound stupid but could that be the cause for my recent fade?
I would post up my swing but at the moment I know what I'm doing wrong with it, so need need.

Short thumb normally improves your club control so I doubt if it would cause a fade.

Okay. In my swing It seems that when I get to the top of my backswing, I then start the downswing too steep, causing a cut across the ball. I understand that this would lead to a fade but before this it was usually a hook. Only explanantion I can make of this is that Instead of cutting across it, I was just going steep into it and pulling left with a hook.
Would this be correct ? I've probably over complicated this dramatically but I'm not great with swing analysis :blah:

Your stance looks slightly open to the target line on the ground, this would also contribute to a little fade. Its only I smidge tho.

What I immediately notice is that you need to eat something! Might give you a few extra yards

You sound like my mum high metabolism, I'm growing up but not out !
