Green Fee per day???

Evening all, Me and a mate are looking to have a golfing day out on Friday. I'm looking on the the local course websites and some list a price per round and per day, some only per day and some only by round.

The question is if it says "per day" does this mean that we would be able to play say 18 holes on the morning and then 9 or the 18 again on the afternoon?

I phoned the club we had originally chose earlier which had the fee's as price per day. Now when I asked the girl she said that would only be for 1 round. Then after questioning her about it she said she wasn't 100% so I would need to ring the pro in the morning to confirm.

What would be your take on it and what does it mean at your club?

I would say yes. All day

Day rate should enable you to play all day.

+1. same as buggy rates, either 18 holes or for the day! start at 7am and play 3 rounds if you so wished, you have paid for the day!!

Day rate is normally what it says - all day. You should dtill get two rounds in at this time of year if you get out before about 10.30

From where you are take a trip to silloth, 45 for the whole day. If you have a county card it'd be half price.

day rate is all day, when I was a lad we'd do 45 holes on a day rate- man we were keen and loved every minute of it
